The A list qualifier is how many torque wrenches you have; I've currently got 4, thinking about a fifth  ........

Marty

I'm down to 3 now. I don't have the need to go over 250 # torque anymore so the old Mac dial 250 # wrench which I didn't feel gave consistent readings and the torque multiplier is gone

I would have to take off at least one shoe to count all mine..a few .ft lb in different drive diameter, few  inch lb and a number of ounce inch units also even a few in screw driver form....

Thanks to all for this good info. I'm going to stuff a rag down there... and be very careful.

I don't have as many torque wrenches as my wife has shoes (!), but I do have 2 inch-pounders and 3 ft-pounders (1 is broken at moment)... My shop is coming along as being fairly complete... I am cautious with a new project like this as parts are hard to come by and it would take several more weeks to make the part on Dad's Lathe.....  My screwdriver sets are in 3 different tool boxes. One for the clocks, one for my motorcycles and of course one for the cars... Hopefully I qualify!

Thanks to all again!

OH! And one more thing, after I get the inspection plug off and if it does need a little "fluid", what fluid should I use? Just plain old auto transmission fluid or does it need to be something Mopar Special??

You should do a search of the forum for that as the topic has been beaten to death many times over. Don't use ordinary atf fluid because as I recall the seals won't like it. I used either iso 32 od aw 32,something like that.(i'd look but the jug is buried in the garage someplace)
