plymouthcranbrook Posted October 7, 2012 Report Posted October 7, 2012 I guess that this sounds like bragging but at age 62 I find I can still get excited about some things. Today I took my 52 Plymouth out for it's first drive in 11 years. Only went 6 blocks and boy were things stiff but what a great trip it was. Quote
RobertKB Posted October 7, 2012 Report Posted October 7, 2012 Glad you enjoyed the car and it is nice to get excited about things at our age. I am 63. Shows there is still some "joie de vie" (joy of life) in us! Quote

RobertKB Posted October 7, 2012 Report Posted October 7, 2012 Young punks.... Do 800 miles in a day and then report back:D Don, to quote Dale Earnhardt or was it Buddy Baker, "You are tougher than a $2.00 steak!" NASCAR is just not the same without the good ole boys. I have done 800 miles in a day several times but always in newer cars. Quote

wallytoo Posted October 7, 2012 Report Posted October 7, 2012 Young punks.... Do 800 miles in a day and then report back:D many times. liked it in my '88 accord and my wife's '97 corolla, not so much in my '95 legacy. so-so in my '84 d-50. my wife hated the accord. had a 16 gallon tank, and i could push it to over 650 miles on a tank (not enough bathroom breaks between fill-ups, ie, zero).
