Wedding excursion

Had a fun day yesterday. Several months ago I was contacted by a woman looking for someone with a woodie who would be willing to drive her husband-to-be from the hotel to their wedding ceremony. He is a big woodie fan and she wanted it to be a surprise. I agreed to do it in return for a charitable donation to a local non-profit I am in involved with. The wedding was up in Maryland at an old farm. Beautiful location.

To get there from my home in Virginia I took the ferry across the Potomac River.

The groom was truly surprised and pleased. The car ran great and received many compliments. Here are the groomsmen posing for pictures before the wedding.

The weather was beautiful and it was fun sharing the car with people who appreciated it. I am just so grateful that my wheel mishap occurred two weeks ago and not on the drive to the ceremony with the groom.
