I got 3 of those little U clips...and no pictures of where :o any help?

going out on a limb here but an thinking the u-channel you are talking about hold shte window channel in place..it the botton fo the U is split with a tab..this is for lcoking the clip to the door frame these clip are about 5/8 wide, 1/2 tall

Tim nailed it. They go around the top of the door to hold that rubberized U channel in place. If you look in the channel of your doors you should see the slots they go into.

Very interesting. I have never seen these clips in the doors of my trucks here in Oz. So is their purpose to hold the 'run 23-42-16' (to the left of this manual diagram) in place?

My trucks have a tab at the bottom of the 'channel 23-09-51' to hold the run in place, and the vent window frame stops the top of the run from moving forward.

Thats exactly what they hold. My 46 has a tab at the bottom of the door and then I 2-3 of these in each door to hold the rest of it in place. I don't have vent windows.
