Where do you find the official weight of a 49 P15?

I'm trying to find a site that will give me the official weight of my 49 P-15 coupe. I need the weight to license it. DMV said they would accept a printed factory weight. I can't find it in the service manual, is it listed in the Owner's manual? Thanks as always in advance.

take your car to an officail truck scales within your state..get the wieght as these are state certified scales they must accept the weight as on the slip....

or you may try to convice them with a print out from here...

Thanks Tim I'll give that a try. I was hoping it was in the owner's manual, but I don't have one.

You may try where one takes scrap metal to get an official weight slip.

If it is a 2 door coupe: 2825.

2 door wagon: 3105

4 door sedan: 3079

special 2 door coupe: 3046

special 4 door wagon: 3341

2 door convert: 3323
