ggdad1951 Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 ANYONE have any extra? Looking for 7 total, will take anything I can get, 5 if anyone has the caps for the two pictured below. The ones I got from a vendor tend to want to pop out with the pad I have behind my firewall. The 2 I had left work perfect still. Thanks. Quote
Desotodav Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 I would love to have helped you out Mark but ours (here in Oz) are quite different to yours on that side of the pond - ours have nasty teeth (see photo)!!! I recall DollyD was chasing some a while back... http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/showthread.php?t=31236 , but I didn't see the outcome. Might pay to check up with him. Desotodav Quote
DollyDodge Posted April 29, 2012 Report Posted April 29, 2012 One person gave me a source, but they are plastic, so I am still looking Quote
TodFitch Posted April 29, 2012 Report Posted April 29, 2012 Does anything on page 130 of Restoration Specialties' catalog look like they might work for you http://www.restorationspecialties.com/2011_Catalog_Web.pdf Quote
Desotodav Posted April 29, 2012 Report Posted April 29, 2012 Well spotted Tod. The B295 look similar to mine and the 1790 almost resembles the ones that Mark is after. Desotodav Quote
ggdad1951 Posted April 29, 2012 Author Report Posted April 29, 2012 I got those, those are the ones that won't stay in place even after some tweaking of the bend location. Those are pretty much the same as the ones that hold the headliner and footwell covers in place. The ones I bought will work fine there, but not well for the firewall. Quote

If you aren't hung up on total originality, would some Chicago Screws work for you? Quote
pflaming Posted April 29, 2012 Report Posted April 29, 2012 I got some plastic upholstery fasteners from ACE HDW. I put a 1/2" floor insulation + painted bubble wrap on my firewall so it is THICK. Those fasteners HOLD, once in you break them to get them out. Not OE but they hold and look nice. Quote
ggdad1951 Posted April 29, 2012 Author Report Posted April 29, 2012 "sadly" yes, I am kinda still trying to keep things OE Quote

DollyDodge Posted May 8, 2012 Report Posted May 8, 2012 I just contacted Restoration Specialties and the B925 clip is no longer available, dang it anyway. It was exactly like mine, but close. Quote
