As far as good bright ones. New ones will be about 3-4 times brighter than the old ones most likely. There's no telling how old my bulbs were, some were probably originals, but the dash bulbs were barely visible. The replacement bulbs were the same wattage and specs, but much brighter.

The headlight I took out of my coupe had may 1948 in ink on the back of it. Wasn't a bullseye light but must have been in there a long time!

If you really want bright 6V headlights, I believe I still have the 6V 55W/60W halogen bulbs and the 6V headlight relay that I took out when I converted to 12V. Just buy some decent H3 halogen headlights, and I can probably supply the 6V stuff!
