OT love my kids

Yesterday when my girls were visiting with their mother they called to tell me that they had passed by a car show in the town near where we live. I love that my kids know and understand my enjoyment of automobiles and felt it important to tell me about the show. Here's a picture of us at Disney from a few weeks ago.

My two kids are 21 and 19 now. They are old enough to understand the 40's Mopar addiction I have been developing over the past decade. Last fall my daughter chased down a '46 dodge coupe so she could get a photo on her phone and send it to me. My wife did the same thing a few weeks ago, sent me a photo of a mid 30's buick. She swore it was just like my car. In the interest of maintaining her interest, I said yes of course it was.

My 19 year old son does nothing but chase skirts right now, but we all understand that addiction. One of these days I'm sure he'll be just as happy to have grease on his hands.

I enjoy my kids too, but I wonder about them sometimes. They're in their mid forties and one has a Jaguar and the other has two Wartburgs! Where did I go wrong?

It happens some times, no fault on your part. But I'll bet when they have kids they will want an old car like Grampa's!
