TheMoose Posted March 26, 2012 Report Posted March 26, 2012 Just saw this for anyone looking for a Fresh air kit. Quote
HanksB3B Posted March 26, 2012 Report Posted March 26, 2012 Pretty cool find, but if I'm not mistaken there's a whole lot more to it. Is there a "Fresh air Kit" thread where somone has shown all the parts involved and how they look installed. Hank Quote

TheMoose Posted March 26, 2012 Author Report Posted March 26, 2012 Yes I agree. Where is that big hard to find OE hose? Thats really an important part! I just used dryer vent & some paint, around $10. Quote
ggdad1951 Posted March 26, 2012 Report Posted March 26, 2012 I got my hose from the Stude website...close as I could find. Quote
Barry Maxwell Posted March 26, 2012 Report Posted March 26, 2012 I got mine from Carquest (RBR 23828). Haven't installed it yet, but it looks like it will work. Quote
John-T-53 Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 Here's a little gem for you guys... Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 Those kits are out there. You have to search for them. Quote
Merle Coggins Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 It would be cool, but you have to have the right kind of heater to work with it. It wouldn't work with my Arvin heater. Merle Quote
ggdad1951 Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 I have the cardboard shroud (well one I remade at least)....what and where does the metal one that looks like that go? Around the cardboard? and that one on ebay is missing parts, FAR from a complete kit as the pictures posted here show. Quote
John-T-53 Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 Bob - Nice spread! Even your box for the 61-65 heater fresh air kit is on good shape. Is that other fresh air kit for the 504 heater? Or a later year? Any chance you could get a close up pic of the instruction sheet that came with the model 61-65 kit? Thanks, Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted March 29, 2012 Report Posted March 29, 2012 John, I have misplaced the only shown instruction sheet for the two 1195725 fresh air packages shown in the above pictures. I took pics of this kit last year with my old camera and the pictures were blurry. I would post new camera clear pic's but now cannot find the sheet! You can find my pictures of this sheet in the Dodge truck gallery. A bit blurry though! The 3rd MoPar box (small) is a dual heater control valve and cable Pkg. for a 1946-8 Crown Imperial Limo.
