I have Tim's deal beat (Barely). ;)

I got mine for free. All I had to do was have a birthday and my brother inlaw gave me a pair off of his spare F1 front end....

Here is Tim's thread with some part numbers. littlemo listed a napa part number.

With the holidays I have been too broke to get the shocks for mine but maybe some time soon. :D

Thanks for the info on the shocks. I'm heading out to my local Napa today, in Oregon of course to save the tax. I am cheap you know.....

Not cheap, frugal. Big difference.

Thanks for making it sound better Neil, but anyone who knows me would say cheap.

Many who have used the F-1 or similar Dodge front shock mounts have made and installed "backing-plates" to reinforce the frame in the area where the two mounting holes were drilled !! This is the pair I made. Cass, alias littlemo ...:)

Thanks for the words of wisdom.

I secured a pair of dodge mounts for a good price from another board member. This board is a wealth of knowledge.

I was thinking of the install I will be doing and Dang man! I was thinking of the same thing to put the nuts in the frame. You have made exactly what I had pictured in my mind. :D

I have not yet installed my shock mounts but I have made backing plates a bit more beefy. I used 1/4" stock. I do like your welded nuts and I plan on doing the same.
