Logo, MoPar, Mopar, decals..

I was reading an article long ago, ( I believe the day before yesterday),

about the decals, Logo, and name of MoPar to Mopar.

I believe MoPar came about in 1937, and changed to Mopar in 1964.

Ok weall have heard of the various funny words we alhave give the various car manufacturers.

Ford found on road dead

Chevy - Change evey Year

Fiat: fix it again tony

MoPar; More ofton Parts are required

So add your two cents to the meaning of the various car makers

Thanks, Robert! I may be moving out of my little apartment soon and will be getting new contact cards soon thereafter. I've never been overly fond of the MoPar logo that I did end up using on my last set. I had been looking for the oblong diesel punk logo last year, but couldn't find it.

I had never seen the early logo decals. Since my cars are 1937, and

and 1938s, I will make some of the early decals for my cars..

Hmm here we go on the names:

Chevrolet:

Cracked Heads Every Valve Rattles Oil Leaks Every Time.

Ford:

Found On Road Dead.

F@#$ing Old Rebuilt Dodge

The other one was already done.

Pontiac:

Poor Old Nun Thought It Was A Cadillac.

I like the ol mopar signs. Been buying them for awhile so I can hang them up in garage when I get a bigger one.
