Who made the first internal combustion engine powered car?

Hint, this car was driven 4 years before 1885 when Benz produced his vehicle. This first car was a 3 wheeler and was the first car involved in the first recorded car crash.

Freddie Benz had on that moved under it own power in 1885.

Etonne Lenoir is proported to have driven a liquid fuel internal combustion powered vehicle in 1862, from Paris to a location about 8 miles away.

I lived in Van Wert, Ohio from 1964-1972. Moved to Columbus, Ohio 1972-1981. Then returned to Van Wert 81-87.
