hey everyone, i recently picked up a 1948 dodge b1d for really cheap. i plan on restoring it back to the original way it was and try my hardest to take her to prom :D.

i do have a few questions....

what are good web sites for finding parts?

are the flatheads easy or hard to work on? (i have rebuilt some motors before)

when i was looking in the interior i saw a speaker grill but no radio, how come?

i bet ill have tonnes more questions when i start to work on it and there will be lots of pics to, im going to pick it up sometime during the week!

i look forward to making friends on this fourm.

Welcome to the Dodge family! Post up some pics of your truck.

The flathead is easy to work on.

Radios were a dealer installed option, not every truck got one. They are out there though.

Does your truck have the radio delete plate to the left of the steering column?

Here's some links that will prove useful.
