I bought new wiper blades, which seem to match up great with the old ones, but there isn't enough arm tension to keep them tight on the windshield

Any suggestions?

I have the same problem, although they do their job about 85% I'd say. It's the spring inside the arms that's not pulling enough. I'd like to hear any suggestions to make them less flacid too...

Thanks,

little blue pills!??!?! Sorry, couldn't NOT say that!

I have bent the wiper arms a little to add a little more tension on the blades. The best fix would be to find and then install new springs.

I haven't looked at mine recently, however, perhaps shortening the springs a tad and re-installing them would also apply some more pressure.

Of course if one could find spring replacements that would be more desirable.
