highspeed Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Mornin' All, Just bought my '52 B-3-C 5 window. Spent a week negotiating from starting price to the purchase price of $500. I loaded it up drug it home and am now ready to put it together. The former owner showed me how well it ran by jump starting it with a Ford Ranger:eek: and smoked all the wires under the dash. It has no brakes and most of the glass is bad., but the cab and box is solid and has a good patina. I'm waiting on a EZ wiring harness and have started in on the brakes. Can't wait for the first drive. Quote

Merle Coggins Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 Welcome to our little family. I got my truck from Iowa. Picked it up from a guy just outside Cedar Rapids, in Marion. I look forward to hear more as your project progresses. Merle Quote

Desotodav Posted October 2, 2011 Report Posted October 2, 2011 Welcome to the forum highspeed from one of the Oz members. Looks like you've got a bit of work ahead of you - but a good starting base. I'm sure that most of us started in a similar position. Enjoy the wealth of knowledge from this site, and be sure to keep us posted on your progress. Desotodav Quote
