The Fairfield Collectibles catalog has, as a new addition, a 1:32 scale (6" long) 1948 Dodge Pilot House replica in red. The hood, doors, and tail gate open, and it has a wood grained bed. It's available for $24.95 on www.fairfieldcollectibles.com, and it looks good.

Several years ago I bought a 1960 T-Bird replica in white from them that matches my car. Although it was more pricey ($40-50 range I think), the quality was EXCELLENT. Although this PH has a different grill than my '51 and it is red instead of green (which mine will be some day), I am going to order one.

Does anyone know of other sources of PH replicas?

It is a neat model even if there are no corner windows. The shipping costs from that outfit were so high that I bought two of them.

I display one with my truck and one on my bookshelf. I also bought a 1953 model at a car show that has the square rear fenders and the corner windows.

That was only $11 and I've never found another one.

Only the Deluxe cabs had the corner windows.
Custom & Deluxe...(according to Bunn):)

Uhh, actually, according to Bunn, Custom and DeLuxe cabs had them from '48-'50, but from '51-'53 only the Custom cabs had them.

Regardless, not all PH trucks had them. My '53 B4B doesn't. Since it also has wing vents, that would make it a DeLuxe. :D

The original company had a green one and a red one available, and the cost was a lot less. I did order a Power Wagon today and the shipping cost was almost as much as the truck.

I took pictures of the models on my display shelf above my computer desk.
