  1. There are a couple fronts on e-bay now. I think this seller recently parted out a couple one tons, you might check to see if they have rears.
  2. Could be the combinaton of light playing tricks and an old, grainy two deminsional photo.
  3. Early 58, four headelights were not legal everywhere until sometime in 58.
  4. With the way these funtion can you now lock the drivers door from the outside?
  5. Looks like a decent workaround, you can always find originals later if you decide to go the show truck route.
  6. That was the limited edition special optional hood ornament. It was expensive and hard to come by so it is seldom seen today.
  7. What is your battery tray off of? Looks like a good substitute for the original. Got a part number? Thanks.
  8. Are those Stockton wheels coined for use as duals?
  9. If you really want a poly you might consider using a later 318A after 62, they have many parts compatible to the later 318LA.
  10. Be careful on this purchase. The roads in Warren are very salty. Cars I drove there as a teenager were like the Flinstones cars, you could look down and see the road go by below you. Look for rust in the normal places and especially under that lower stainless trim and where anything bolts to the body like the rear fenders. The steel around holes will be thin and mostly rust.
  11. I use that product to line the drawers in rollaway tool boxes. I think you will find that 1/8 " thickness to flimsy to use for floor mats.
  12. Two of my favorites. Nice Studebaker and B Model Mack.
  13. Check out the inside rear cover of the current Vintage Truck.
  14. Nice work. Do you have part numbers for the radiator or the hoses used? Thanks.
  15. Enlarged your profile photo, that looks like a 300.
  16. Can't tell from the picture but it looks like those could be budd wheels, that would make your truck a 300. If it is a 300 the procedure is different and no puller is required.
  17. For those who enjoy youtube check out a video titled 1961 The Dead Cars Place
  18. If I remember correctly the Stockton Power wagon wheel is not coined or have enough offset to use as duals, also didn't someone try these and had clearance problems with brake drums. Anyone have these on their truck and can verify these issues. Thanks. Frank
  19. For those who haven't yet seen it there is a nicely done video on YouTube titled Winchester 75 Sporting Model that has two of my favorite things. Pilothouse trucks and 22 rifles.
  20. Your B1D is a one ton, the light duty Dana 35 is more like a 1/2 ton axle and may look out of place on your one ton.
  21. If you have the 230 crank and rods I think you also need the 230 flywheel, can yours be salvaged?
  22. I had a 55 first series 1/2 ton panel that had 16's. Maybe a switch to 15's for the second series?
