greg g Posted September 6, 2011 Report Posted September 6, 2011 If you go to the "abc with the check mark" in the tool box on the new post or quick reply dialog box, it will link you to a freeware spell checker that you can down load then use as needed on this and other forum type sites. Quote
Big_John Posted September 7, 2011 Report Posted September 7, 2011 Use Mozilla Firefox for your web browser. It has a spell check built in. Quote
randroid Posted September 7, 2011 Report Posted September 7, 2011 Lou, I'm with Big John on that. Firefox doesn't make pages you're loading any faster but it has so much less of MS-type garbage to wade through while you're loading them that it seems as though it does. I use Yahoo as my home page and there's nothing different than when I ran Yahoo under IE other than its performance but you must never tell MS you're using it because they'll automatically tell you they can't help, but if you say you're using IE they won't know you're lying. If the concept of telling MS something other than the truth bothers you, consider how they told everyone that their latest version of Windows is flawless and everything seems to smooth right over. -Randy Quote
Desotodav Posted November 8, 2011 Report Posted November 8, 2011 Don't use the same spell check that this fellow did Lou... Desotodav Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted November 8, 2011 Report Posted November 8, 2011 I went to Firefox long back on the home computer due to its age..It is 11 year old unit, and the internet exployer is no long supported...it causes many issues with downloading latest and greatest files..one day I will get off my duff and put the newer computer in this one's place..Firefox spell check does do well..and I have fewer on line issues and thus faster page refreshing Quote
