start with a dead cow...work from there..

these folks have a toll free number..their sizing chart is little less than compatable to known diameter ..give them a call...they may have what you need..

Their selection is limited ...oldest I see is for an 84 vehicle...nothing has had these monster wheels since PS came into play....I've often though about getting a custom one made, but that might be difficult and if it's al all loose it would be dangerous

that was the reason for the post to call the toll free number..odds are they may have a generic for the larger steering wheel...but of course you could look and report back a source..

My 46 pickup has a steering wheel cover on it but it came with it so I can't tell you where it came from. Its a fit it yourself one where you tie it around the wheel.

HEY!!!!! None of you buggers bid me up on the Hello Kitty one on ebay... that's mine!

LOL

I looked at a "big rig/truck" cover at a place called FGI up here and it was big enough to fit around...but too big to be tight on the narrow wheel...I guess you could tie leather on, but not so sure that would be good either....maybe I'm picky...when I was at the mechanic shop and we brought cars in with those covers 90% of them slipped and slided on the wheel and I hated that

Is your truck interior Brown or Black?

Hank :D

P.S. Upholsterers (and skilled leather workers) do this routinely for foreign imports here in L.A. but I'd imagine we'd be talking $100s of dollars. I do like your idea about a leather steering wheel cover. The 18" Truckers one sounds great. You can buy all sorts of bicycle handlebar tape some of which has a gel backing that does not stick by adhesion. It is very workable, cushy and durable and depending on how you worked it, could definitely fill the overage so the cover would fit. I think it could work.

You could make one from a vinyl table cloth (with flower pattern) that would work well. I have seen similar covers on motorhomes at campgrounds. It's usually the camp host RV that's the most decked out with covers on the wheels too.

Little pricy but very good quality. Have one on my B1, looks and works great.
