moparmonkey Posted March 1, 2011 Report Posted March 1, 2011 I hope this posts.^^^^The Chock^^^^^ Not good! A pressurized container as a chock! That'll leave a mark... Quote
Merle Coggins Posted March 1, 2011 Report Posted March 1, 2011 Sweet lookin' truck. I want it. I noticed the "wheel chock" too. Actually I've seen that quite often at car shows, especially those shows that require every entrant to have a fire extinguisher. I agree though that it wouldn't make a very good chock, especially on a truck that size. Merle Quote
Desotodav Posted March 1, 2011 Report Posted March 1, 2011 I found a couple of photos that my daughter took at one of our local historic society's here in Oz. Maybe our siren and your spotlight would make a good combination! Quote
catfishcuz Posted March 1, 2011 Report Posted March 1, 2011 That is just great who could not love that fire truck it just makes me wonder what and how much action that ol baby has seen ,if it could only talk. Quote
MBF Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 Here's a couple I've seen at antique truck shows. Mike Quote
Don Coatney Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 A few years back I attended an all Ford show in Virginia. Those wheel chocks were a requirement on all entrants. Quote
ggdad1951 Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 here is my firetruck, I got it from my grandfather as a kid. It was a gift to him from the local FD when he retired. Yes, with a battery, you can flip a lever by reaching in the cab and the headlights light up! I also have his old helmet. Quote
