Young Ed Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 That's a neat little car. Tim you offering delivery Actually I'm trying to talk her into something like a valiant or dart wagon or possibly a falcon wagon. So far the only thing she seems to really like the looks of is a jeepster but I don't think she'd like how they drive. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted January 10, 2011 Author Report Posted January 10, 2011 best part about a Jeepster..is there are million of alternative vehicles to choose from..that is one car I never have liked...(the Aztec of the Willy's line-up) but give me a Willy's wagon any day.. Quote
hkestes41 Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 There is a slick 1964 Plymouth Valiant Signet 200 V8 Convertible for sale on the HAMB http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=548700&highlight=plymouth Would have to do some negotiations on the price, but the Mrs would look good in this one Ed. Plymouthy Adams Posted January 10, 2011 Author Report Posted January 10, 2011 I have never cared for the Valiant convertibles..could have gotten one years back at a more than fair price..just look like a rat with their back sliced off.. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 (edited) This one looks pretty nice..........$12,500 asking price. Anyone ever heard of the Kowalke Collector car price guide he mentions? Edited January 10, 2011 by BobT-47P15 Quote
Young Ed Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 I really like the 64 converts. 273v8 and pushbutton auto would be perfect. Quote

They all drive like a Jeep is what I've heard though. I think she would want something a little more car like. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted January 10, 2011 Author Report Posted January 10, 2011 am sure this is a typo and should be a 361 (baby of the big block)...this is more to my liking also when it comes to wagons http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/cto/2149901556.html Quote
Young Ed Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 Tim that would certainly do it! I tried to buy Dads 66 Fury III wagon but Mom likes it too much. Quote
Merle Coggins Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 That would make an AWESOME grocery getter. And just think, Ed, when the kids start coming you'd already have a family truckster wagon. Merle Quote

Charlie Olson Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 Hey Young Ed, I live right next to Chandler AZ and I could take a look-see of this nice little vert, for you. Shucks! I could even deliver it to MN, when I come to "lost in the fifties" in June, right? Charlie, driving that PLYWOOD in the 2nd Annual Barrett-Jackson Auction Road Rally I really like the 64 converts. 273v8 and pushbutton auto would be perfect. Quote
