I took a page from Rodneys book. It just started to snow here and I thought it would be fun to get the car out before the sanders and plows. I found an old camera clamp I had and used it to hold the camera on the dash. I took out the ashtray to make room for the clamp.

I enjoyed the ride Busycoupe, the scenery is very much like many parts of Winnipeg City, especially River Heights, Wolseley, West Broadway, and the Tuxedo areas.

Did you give her a wash on your return.....

Great video. Thanks for posting. A very nice ride just before Christmas with the appropriate music. Also, it reminded me about what I forgot to tell Santa that I wanted for Christmas........a remote garage door opener!:P

Thanks for sharing your ride this afternoon, I had mine out also for about ten miles, but no video, for some reason with the new camera it slows my old computer right down.

Like RobertKB mentioned, the Christmas music was a great addition to the video.

Thanks again,

Bob

No, I did not wash the car on return. The roads were still mostly dry and only a little snow stuck on the car. I did wipe a bit off of the fenders and trunk so that I wouldn't get the garage too wet.

Thanks all for your kind words. I was thinking about how I had the camera clamp for about 20 years and wondered if something like it were available now. I was stunned when I googled it to find out the company is still in business making exactly the same "clampette" in the USA. Great little device, holds a digital camera easily.

We have a similar camera mount that we picked up in a camping store a few years ago. Unfortunately there isn't anyplace in my old that I've figured out how to make it work with the camera I have. So I've been using a suction cup mount for a smart phone that I can put on the windshield. You could do something similar for a regular camera with this:

That was cool! The Bingster crooning "White Christmas", looking out over that hood and in that vintage neighborhood- it could have been from 50 years ago. (Except for all the new iron running around).
