John Mulders Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 We got more rain and again the whole area flooded. Not as bad as before but still water around the house. I jacked the P15 up this morning and checked the wheel (whether they turn). Rear back left seems a a bit stuck, rear left turns. Front has the discbrakes. I can also now remove the engine oil/water.... As the water keeps coming I think I will have to buy one of these : http://www.flickr.com/photos/67194633@N00/271235435 Around 50.000 US$ but I can sell my Boston Whaler John Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 They use those "ducks" in Branson, MO and other places as tourist rides. They give you a duck call and tell you to use it when you meet another duck going the opposite direction. The driver does commentaries about local stuff while driving in the area. Then they go to the water and take a brief "swim". They let our daughter steer it for a bit since it was her birthday that day. You might buy one of those and develop a whole new business John. Here's a link to a video about the Branson ducks. http://www.ridetheducks.com/home.aspx Quote

Must have made a bunch of those ducks back in WW2 if every town that has a tourist area near water is running tours. Quote
Young Ed Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 Yup Wi dells has a bunch of places with duck tours. We did one on our honeymoon. Quote
rustyzman Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 Had a friend years ago that had one. He got pulled over for driving it on a residential street (exceeding weight limit). As I understand it, he convinced the officer that it weighed less than 5 tons and got out of the ticket! Quote
