New Shiny Mustache for 47 Chrysler Coupe

Here is a pic of my new used shiny hood lip trim.

I bought this from a great Guy out of Modesto Cal.

I also bought 2 dent free shiny headlight bezels too.

I really need to get new or re-chromed bumpers, to finish the job, as well as the stainless and pot metal items need attention too, all in it's own time I suppose.

It looks great! Congratulations. It must be cold working on the car today. Winter has not hit Massachusetts with a vengeance yet, although some small puddles in the driveway had a skim of ice this morning.

I know what you mean about getting the rest of the bright work eventually. My car currently has a re-chromed front bumper, but I keep putting off getting the back one done. It seems to be a low priority.

They are very pricey to replate, and outrageously expensive to buy an NOS specimen.

It would be if a) your not dressed for the weather, but my car is inside a shop, even without the heat on in there it's still 40 above.

I had to put a new plug end on my block heater cord, my bare hands did geta bit cold after a while.

It really isa beautiful early winter day, did some snow blowing earlier, kid road the small quad around the yard on trails I cut for him, life is good.......

From the before pics you've posted, to now, it's sure come a long way. Looks great regardless. Hey your driving and enjoying it...the "details" can come later.

It all takes time but will eventually get done.

I still need to have the front bumper replated after all the

years I've owned the car. But that doesn't prevent it being

driven and enjoyed.
