I found this picture of a happy couple happily camping in their 49 Plymouth Suburban. I am hoping to do some camping myself, but not in a suit, and no pick axe required. My wagon is progressing through painting, but I was looking for travel trailer info when I found the picture. I want to build my own trailer and was looking for siding and trailer building stuff.

their attire is to throw a curve ball, the radio on the tailgate is actually a Geiger counter in disguise and they were out prospecting for uranium..I refuse to be taken in by this ruse..

So now I know the proper attire for giegering:D

Those were casual clothes for the era in which they were raised. Each generation rebels in someway against the previous. And for the last few generations the direction of the rebellion, with regard to clothing, has been toward sloppier (more casual) dress than their parents could tolerate.
