randroid
Folks, I couldn't help but notice that most of the respondents served the varied Armed Forces about the same time, which indicates a strong possibility that we all served in 'Nam. Don Jordan
I notice there are a lot of old guys. I guess the kids don't really work on cars now a days - especially old cars. I'd just like to say since the vets are talking - I did one year in Viet Nam - actually 12 months and 28 days but who's counting. Once I got home I knew that was it I did my time. I have the utmost respect for those in the military who go over 2 or 3 times. That's asking a lot. Viet Nam was the "unpopular" war and many did come home to negative comments. I'm not sure the war we're in right now is very popular but at least the citizens don't take it out on those serving. I am proud of all the vets, from all the wars who were willing to sacrifice. Didn't mean to go on and on. Don Jordan USMC Chu Lai 68 69 Semper Fi
ptwothree
I've never been able to figure out why all the mistreatment of returning viet nam vets.....after all, most from that era were drafted, they had no choice how and where the military would utilize them...just the opposite today. Hope everyone has a great Memorial Day...we are going to go watch a parade!!
