I would be careful Chance...that could be the useless upgraded R10G-1 from the very well proven R2D2

Tim, I believe you are spaced out. May the force be with you!:P

musta been the deli beef with garlic...

It will do it every time....................but sure tastes good. Gotta love that garlic!

It sort of looks like my transmission but I have the T-CP30 floor shift conversion. Biggest difference besides the floor shifter is my transmission does not reek of garlic. If it did I would give it away.:(

Folks,

On Topic: It looks my OD tranny but I don't know my model and I'll be deep-dipped in sheep-nuggets if I'm going to pull it to find out why it runs so well. Do you own that one or are you looking to buy it or was it just laying on the side of the road?

Off Topic: When I installed my OD tranny I saved the original because the only thing wrong with it was that it wasn't an OD. It is available and in N. Colorado at an alarming amount yet to be determined but I'm not greedy and that's probably why I'm broke all the time. Ruth, if a P-15 tranny will fit in your car you may have first dibs. Half my family is from Oregon and I took my degree at PSU, not to mention my Paternal Grandmother rang the Liberty Bell for the State at the end of WWII, so I have a soft spot in my head for Oregonads.

KINDA found it on the side of the road , i did a lot of what TIM calls beating the bushes & found it about 100 miles from my house the guy who had it agreed to deliver it to NASHVILLE saving me a 200 mile round trip . When he got here he had the nerve to ask me to pay 400.00 for the O/D ! so i did , now i have to sell SOMEONE a set of 400.00 lug nutz !! I`m not going to take it apart i just hope everything is ok with it , the input shaft has a little play in it so i may have to look into that , i dont really know what all i need to find to get this thing going but 49WOODIE is doing the same thing to his 49 WOODIE WAGON so i guess i`ll just copy everything he does ..CHANCE

Chance-

There should be a date stamped on the case. Mine was found after lots of scraping and wirebrushing, on the front edge of the case. I think it was on the side, the case has a sort of flange right at the front edge.
