tom'sB2B Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 Hi I just bought a 1950 Dodge B2B from a guy in Aptos/Santa Cruz CA. These two rear wheel sets came with the truck. The seller (Barry Bryan) said that he recieved them from a member of this forum. I was hoping someone would recognize them and give me any info they have. thanks Tom Quote
greg g Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 Wheels, those look like Early MOPAR axles, backing plates, and hubs to me. Do trucks have lugs and nuts or lug bolts?? Quote
tinlizzy Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 I have a B1B and B2B both have bolts right and left handed. Quote
48Dodger Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 Those look like the correct axle hubs for the B2B. There should be a stem for the rim to hang on for alignment of the "lug bolts" (that's what I call'em). If you have wheel studs, you may have a "newer" axle. 48D Quote
Merle Coggins Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 3/4 ton and up have studs and nuts. Only the 1/2 ton trucks used wheel bolts. Merle Quote
48Dodger Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 Doesn't the 3/4 and 1 ton also have six studs.....as opposed to five? 48D Quote
Merle Coggins Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 3/4 ton is still a 5 lug wheel, but has a 5" bolt pattern vrs. the 4.5" pattern on the 1/2 ton trucks. Merle Quote
