Going to look good when you're done. I think a nice clean engine bay - and

trunk - add to the value and appearance of a car.

Have you ever noticed cars all re-done, for sale on ebay, but the engine

area is still grubby?

I always wonder why they didn't go ahead and do that since they obviously

went to the trouble and expense to make the car look good otherwise.

Same here, I had cleaned it fairly well after I got the car. Since the new engine is going in it`s a no brainer to clean it up----so much more room to work. Being it was all open I also did the frame area and replaced the seals on the upper and lower control arms.Doing the wire harness over too.........Thanks

Got some color on today---my pinstripe buddy comes Tuesday to do some magic on the firewall:D...........Lee
This is close to the finished product---I think it will be a love-hate thing. Trying to do the racing theme with more decals and lettering. When the engine is in with all the other stuff on I think it will look the way I wanted it:cool:.........Lee

real race cars have no need for a heater or AC...am expecting to see only one seat when he gets to the passenger compartment.

I have only one seat in the front of my race car. And for good balance I have another seat in the rear. They are called Bench Seats:D

The oval hole on the left side is were the heater is. I used a 40 Olds heater and it will stub out there, it`s small and it will put out enough heat in the spring and late fall------air may come later......Lee

The theme is to LOOK like a racing car engine bay---the engine is pretty much the same as mpn23748. Oh ya I need the big front seat too---for my big hind end....lol........Lee:D
