Guest Kuster13 Posted October 9, 2009 Report Posted October 9, 2009 Someone who has a 116" wheel base truck, I need a measurement from the center of the rivet on the back of the leaf spring hanger to the back of the frame. My frame was chop for the tilt deck that was installed back on the farm. I've had extensions welded back on but I left them long. The pic shows what I'm looking for. Thanks for the help. Tom Quote
Reg Evans Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 Here's the tail end of my 116" wb 3/4 ton single wheel pickup. It measures 13 3/4" to the center of the rivet. Quote
Guest Kuster13 Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 Mr. Reg Thank you, thank you, thank you, and the new pup thanks you. She keeps running under the truck and banging her head. Now I can trim the frame, fit the box properly and stuff it back in the shop. Tom Quote
Reg Evans Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 Good, glad I could help a buddy pup out. So....does this mean you have the rear fender and running board extensions for the dual rear wheels ? Quote
Guest Kuster13 Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 No, those I do not have. Tom Quote
Frank Elder Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 I'm sure your truck is nice, but The puppy is beautiful:) Quote
buds truck Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 tom, that pup is a beauty. How is the housebreaking coming? :D:D Quote
Guest Kuster13 Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 So far so good. Only outside does she seem to like chewing on anything she can get. If I get after her she runs under the truck but the last time she started to chomp on the brake flex hose going to the rear axle. I got after her and she banged her head pretty hard. She actually sat down for a few minutes and just stared at the ground. Next week she will be to tall to walk under the truck which solves that problem. 70lbs at almost five months. The best part is that she is learning the important things like providing me with a beverage. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 that pup sure has some excellent markings...how big that pup going to be when he's a dog? Quote
48Dodger Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Now I can trim the frame, fit the box properly and stuff it back in the shop. Tom Awww..don't do that. "Red" loves his 1947 1.5 outside, where he can get at the tires .....lol 48D *he's a Roman Rott (half rott/half mastiff) 200 lbs of pure joy Quote
Guest Kuster13 Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 She is a Saint and her mom was 160 and dad was around 200. She is just 5 months now and her paws are as big as our last Saint when she was mature. I have to put the truck away. I hate seeing it sitting outside in pieces all cold, wet and howling at me to get working on her. At least if she's in the shop were it's warm and dry I can sit with her and make truck noises so she won't be lonely..... I know! I know! Stop listening to that little voice in my head. Tom Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 the little voice in my head is the only time I have an interesting conversation... Quote
