PatS.... Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 (edited) Yes, it's as nice as it gets, but is a Dodge truck worth a $150,000 opening bid??? As they say in England, I'm gobsmacked If it sells, I'm gonna start building one:D http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1968-Dodge-W200-Power-Wagon-5-7L-Hemi-frameoff-resto_W0QQitemZ180410465550QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash=item2a014d3d0e&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245 Edited September 25, 2009 by PatS.... 48Dodger Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 I don't know.....sounds like a guy wrote a check for every part of this resto and is trying to make a buck. If I bought a new Dodge Hemi truck and used it for a donor for any classic truck, I hardly think it would be 150,000.00.....but, its his truck, not mine, and at that price...its gonna stay that way. lol. 48D Quote
Frank Elder Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 How does this truck have a modern engine and chivvy parts and can still be called the most stunning restoration or an all original...... Quote
MBF Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 Hey-he's billing is as the "nicest truck on the planet". I think I'll pass, and keep my own stuff-pretty sure my wife would agree with my decision! Quote
John-T-53 Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 If its so dadburned nice/no expenses spared kind of job, and for so much money, I wouldn't take it without a warranty! Quote
Dennis_MN Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 I always put a riduculas price on something that my wife wants me to get rid of, funny how it never leaves the place. Dennis Quote
slicknapier Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 I think he added an extra "0" on accident? Quote
PatS.... Posted September 25, 2009 Author Report Posted September 25, 2009 Maybe the Warden to him he had to sell that old hunk of junk and get it out of the driveway. This way he can just say "I tried to sell it, Dear, but nobody has any money in this economy". ;) Quote
