Fireball Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 Whatabeauty! I hope it wasn't cheap 'cause I envy so much... Quote
Oldguy48 Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 Wow...That is a beautiful vehicle. Congratulations:D Quote
Reg Evans Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 (edited) That's a beauty Lou. I'm jealous too. I like the color scheme and might just use those colors on my 58 D100 Finned Sweptside. Don't you all laugh at once but I have decided to paint the truck .....for now anyway .....with rattle cans. It's very ugly and I can't afford a real paint job so here goes. In this photo I have already painted the top of the front fender and the center of the bed side with Krylon Satin ivory color. Soon it will be a 2 toned truck instead of a 6 tone. RobertKB Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 Fins, fins, who needs stickin' fins? I am just jealous of course. Very nice looking two door! Fuel gauge.....maybe you don't want to know. Clock.....it's always time for a drive in it! Quote
Oldguy48 Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 The clock will be exactly right twice a day. Quote
Frank Elder Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 That car is awesome, colors are just right! Looks like somebody snuck a little house carpet in on ya:eek: Here's a coupla my favorites. Quote
Don Jordan Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 Was this a garage find? The kind you hear about but never find. Sort of like an urban myth. What a beautiful car. It's getting scary for me - and probably why I appreciate the car so much - but I remember them. We had a 60 Plymouth station wagon when I was in high school. Went to the junior prom in it. Not the classiest but I took off the hub caps and painted the lug nuts white. Had to put the caps back on before I drove into the drive way. The 50s - that's when America ruled and cars were cars. No plastic fenders. And they still look good today. Like the others who wrote - I too am envious. Quote
Normspeed Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 A real beauty Lou. I recall a friend in high school with a similar Dodge. Great car. Quote
