My Mom was finally able to stand the trip back home from Texas where she is staying with my sister. She turned 90 on May 1st. While they were home my sister and I went through most of her old photos. I can't remember Dad ever driving anything but a MoPar product. Here are some of his older cars.

My Dad and his 1935 Dodge.

His 1940 Plymouth.

My Dad on the left , my uncle in the middle, and a family friend. After a morning hunt. In front of his Dodge.

They could have killed three times as many but after drinking the bottle they just shot the one in the middle.

this is me and my little brother with my new bike on my 8th birthday in front of his 1952 Chrysler and his 1953 Dodge 1 ton.

Here is a picture of the same truck in the background. Dad is sitting on the bed.

Kind of a long post but just thought I would share.

Beautiful pictures, even better memories I'd bet :)

The dodge, I've never seen one with the 3rd bumper guard, like a chrysler. Last picture making soap, doing laundry, or scalding hogs?

Probably none of the above:D

Great pics. The first one looks like a 36 plymouth. The others are a 41 and a 46-48 plymouths

My Dad and his buddies never got past the beer drinking and 500 cigarrettes when they went hunting OR fishing. never brought home a thing! :)

I was guessing at the cars at least I was fairly close. The only ones I remember are the Chrysler and Dodge truck. The truck is the one I learned to drive in.
