aero3113 Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 A while back there was a post with a link to a site that allows you to age your photos in black and white. Anyone remember what that link was? Quote
Frank Elder Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 The thread was Try it, you'll like it, then post it. http://labs.wanokoto.jp/olds smiley deleted! Quote

Powerhouse Posted April 19, 2009 Report Posted April 19, 2009 that web site is ok... Photoshop and a little know how does a much better job...you can even get a nice early color style picture or a hand color tinted black and white style picture. But that involves more than 2 clicks...hahaha:) Quote
Frank Elder Posted April 19, 2009 Report Posted April 19, 2009 I like that site because the transformation picture looks like it has been handed down from gramps to grandkid, instead of looking like a photo newly taken. Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted April 19, 2009 Report Posted April 19, 2009 You can also age your pictures in Photo Shop just like that site does. You can do other stuff with Photo Shop too, like adding noise to the picture etc. You can even stretch your pictures if you want in different shapes. Quote
TodFitch Posted April 19, 2009 Report Posted April 19, 2009 True on all the photoshop stuff but that web site is nice in that it is just a click or two. Here are couple of photos I took yesterday. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted April 19, 2009 Report Posted April 19, 2009 this picture is as fresh in my mind as yesterday Quote
Frank Elder Posted April 19, 2009 Report Posted April 19, 2009 If that really was a period picture, people would wonder why Don came outside in his boxers, unless of course they already knew him:D Quote
TodFitch Posted April 19, 2009 Report Posted April 19, 2009 If that really was a period picture, people would wonder why Don came outside in his boxers, unless of course they already knew him:D Everyone in that photo is sartorially incorrect for the era that the cars were built. But as long as everyone had a good time the correctness of the clothing is of little importance. Quote

blueskies Posted April 20, 2009 Report Posted April 20, 2009 Here's a couple I did... hit reload if the pics don't show up. the original picture- The photoshop version- The website conversion version- The website version looks old, but it looks to me like it was scanned from an old newspaper, not an original old photograph... Fun all the same though. Pete Quote
Powerhouse Posted April 20, 2009 Report Posted April 20, 2009 yeah...the website just looks like a newsprint foto that was left out in the sun...doesn't look old to me...just like a poor quality print in bad shape...hahaha but...its free...and easy.... Quote
