Anyone have these license plate frames?

Seller has them listed on ebay under just about every make from the 40s. They look quite nice but wonder if they are worth the $50. The pickup kinda has the plate out in the breeze so a frame to stiffen it up would be nice. On the coupe it would just be decoration.

I searched high and low for a similar article as the 41 Georgia plate is much larger than the stock sized plate of today...I was not successful in finding one for that SET of tags..am sure I will have to have mine custom fabricated...

If you guys have one of Coker Tire's catalog, you'll find the adjustable license plate holders in it. Don't know the price since I wasn't interested in them, just saw them in the lower right hand corner of one of the pages. Guess you could also check their website, not sure if they are there though.

With your big butt car the oversized plate should look normal.

Ed,

Like I said, I wasn't sure if they had them online. They are just a side line with Coker. They are in the paper catalog though. Give them a call on their 800 number and ask them about it. Or, have them send you a paper catalog. Lots of other neat stuff in it too.

...accessory plate frames from Mopar. They were expandable so as to fit many size plates. I have seen several NOS sets go for over $200. Once I saw a set sell for nearly $400. So $50 sounds pretty good even if they are reproductions.

This is the 54 accessory license plate..it is adjustable and will barely fit the larger 41 Georgia tag..but as I also hve a 54 Plymouth..she be on that car...and this is my registered YOM tag...open along the bottom...guess that is because of the lower mounting bar on most all the older Mopar car licnese bracket..
