Robert Smith Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 See some low prices... in Monrovia, it's 1.67 for regular at Chevron... I put middle grade in my Plymouth... I paid 1.77 which is so welcome after what we Californian’s have gone through! I hear it's going to drop more... it has already, last week when I tanked up I paid 1.85 or something for 89... now it's lower... keep it falllin'! =R Quote
RHDSP15C Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 It's headed for below a buck a gallon. Those nice folks in the Middle East are about to share some pain. Quote

Have you hopped it up with a shaved head and racing cam? Seems like 87 octane regular unleaded ought to be more than good enough. Quote
Niel Hoback Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 Immediately after the announcement of reduction, crude oil price dropped to $40 and some cents. I did notice that the local price went from $1.69 to $1.59. I'm so confused, I don't know what to think. Quote
Don Coatney Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 I put middle grade in my Plymouth... =R Like Tod I must ask why? I run regular at the cheepest price I can find in my souped up Desoto powered P-15 Quote
58prostreet Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 Filled up with regular 87 octane for 1.39/gal yesterday in Va. Beach. Bob Quote
Merle Coggins Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 I heard on the radio this morning that "they" are expecting the national average to drop below $1.25 within the next couple weeks, and some areas may have the price go below $1.00. I guess we'll just have to wait to see if "They" are right. Merle Quote
