  1. It looks like they will be doing the work Thursday. The guy told me he will hold a spot in the shop for me. We will see what happens
  2. You don't have to put dates down when you are away or even say you are on vacation. They use it on AIM instant messenger and works great. Here are some examples you can do. I'm away from my computer out drinking beer out with the wife in the garage busting knuckles The list can go on and on, I always have an away message up on AIM, doesn't mean that I am out of the house or away from home. How do you guys know that Rustbucket is not on this forum under a different name? I see that there is alot of new members.
  3. Fireball, nice ride. What size tires do you have on it?
  4. Just had an Idea, I see that sometimes people on this site wonder where someone is if they do not hear from them in a while(get worried or curious). Maybe the web-master can set up some way members can leave away messages if they know they are not going to be on for a while. Shouldn't be to hard to do.
  5. The hangar floor is Acrylicon, a new product that I think was developed in Sweden. The aircraft were able to be parked 24 hours after it was put down. Very strong stuff and will not stain or crack. No polishing needed (maybe years down the road) just a wash once in a while the guy uses one of those small zambonies.
  6. Don, you ever stick a few bills in your sock LOL!
  7. Just curious to see what everyone on this site does for their profession (Hopefully everyone is still employed). I manage 2 corporate jets for a company on long island, I am responsible for everything completed on the aircraft from maintenance, paperwork and airworthy releases. It is a big responsibility but I love to get up and go to work . Here are my two babies . How would you guys like to have that hangar for a garage!!! Gulfstream GIV Challenger 601-3A
  8. I'm sure the owners of the burger place made out pretty well if a Wendy's bought them out $$$$$$'s
  9. Found this combo on-line http://www.batteriesareus.com/index....oducts _id=83 Edit/Delete Message
  10. Sorry thought I started a new thread
  11. Found this combo online http://www.batteriesareus.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=22&products_id=83
  12. Thanks, this pic is when I first finished under the hood, I have since added a new battery hold down (you can see it is too big) and cleaned the carb.
  13. Is it anyone on this site???
  14. I would buy one of a 1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe 2 Door Club Coupe
  15. Its the spring behind my oil filter in the pic, right?
  16. Are you guys for real? Just changing the spring will do this? We are talking about the spring that goes to the gas pedal to the linkage on top of the head?
  17. That's funny Bob,the guy in the car taking the picture looks like you.
  18. To tell you the truth I don't think they are much brighter when the lights are on but when I step on the brakes I think they are brighter.
  19. Dont ask me how but they are working now, I turned the bulb 180 deg in the socket and it worked! I did that earlier and it didnt work. Got me
  20. The socket looks brand new, I just hooked them up to the battery using some wires and they lit up.
  21. Why? what is so bad about him?
  22. The site says they are Fully Regulated - Non-Polar Proprietary Circuitry what does that mean?
  23. I took out the socket on the car to get a better look and it looks like the contacts are touching as they should. I don't know whats wrong, I find it weird that when I test the bulb I get no reading (not sure if this is normal unlike a regular bulb) Still not sure if I should file and put the other LED in the other brake and see if thats the problem (might need both LED's to work?)
  24. They are indexed the same here is a pic. The LED'S contacts are oval, do you think I should file them down to match the regular bulb? Do they test the same with a meter like a regular bulb?
  25. I received my LED bulbs today and the bayonets were offset when they should be even. I called www.autolumination.com and they said that I could file down the top bayonet so it will fit which I did and it fit fine with no play at all. I tested the brakes and the LED did not light. I only have one led in the left brake light the other brake light has the regular bulb. Do you think I need both LED'S in for them to work? I did not want to file down the other one in case I was to return them. Do you test these bulbs like a regular bulb? I tested the bulb and get no reading.
