I want a 12v system with cd/mp3/bluetooth, etc but don't want it to show. I was thinking about finding a vintage radio that was dead and cutting it off behind the face so I can make a hingable face plate out of the old radio and mount the new one behind it. Does anyone see any major flaws in this? I would probably use rare earth magnets as the closure mechanism.
Since the tree looks like its been there a while it's not much of an add for a workhorse PH truck. Looks like is gave up the ghost very early in life of that is a fast growing tree. It might have a tap root right in a well.
I am having some problems with my door latches. I have searched but can't find a good diagram of the system. Does anyone have one? How about pics of the things?
On my drivers side the latch does not seem to have a good return. Is there spring that needs replaced? Is it simple?
I am not sure about those. Great work put into them but.....I would like some better shots of the purple one.
Interesting tailgate section on the red one.
Hey, quit taking trucks from my neck of the woods. Just cuz our weather doesn't eat a vehicle in 10 years doesn't give you the right to become a poacher!!! Grrrrrrrrr.
Have fun with it.
The rims looks great.
What part of Idaho? I'm in Boise.
I love the Protonix pad you used. I'd have bad heartburn too if I had that much body rot to deal with. Although my 47 IHC truck may have about that much.
So I need a new windshield. Local glass co. quoted $700  and that is with me supplying the gasket which I bought.
Is this even in the right ballpark?
Is it really that tough to do it myself if I have them cut the glass from the original template?
The corner windows would scare me but with the divider bar and all I am not sure how tough this one really is. Let me know.
I think the guy that figures of the measurements and how to cut and make the thing deserves a bit of a markup. Not only how to make the bracket but all of the other part numbers and such for the bearings and such that went along with it. I had no problem spending the $$ for that research that was done. I spent that much money in time trying to figure out a part # for a dual MC that would fit in the place of the single MC on my truck. After all that time I never did figure it out, so my hat is off to whoever figured out the disc brakes.
