  1. Folks, On another thread, someone suggested I somehow move to protect the rubber fuel line so that it doesn't get melted by the exhaust. I must be retarded or something because I can't think of a good way to keep the line cleared so that there isn't a safety problem. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks, FG.
  2. Thank you for that. What makes me nervous is that they don't have prices on their website at all...do you you know what their range is? FG.
  3. Have you bought from them before? FG.
  4. You make a fine point on that one. I may have to look at that myself. FG.
  5. Folks, In Southern California, from March to January it is stinking hot. Has anyone ever thought about putting one of these in? I am, and I'm wondering if anyone has as well. http://www.oldairproducts.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=1_31000000_31000018_120132035&products_id=4285 Thanks, FG.
  6. A picture is worth a thousand words. I only have one on the passenger side. Is that normal? FG.
  7. M, I have to take whatever is in there out of the dash when I get the chance. With the wedding next week it is going to be a bit difficult. However, I think it *might* be a smaller radio. Whatever I take out, I'm going to take to John in Arcadia. FG.
  8. Thanks, didn't see that. FG.
  9. Folks, An unbelievable barn find. Literally. FG.
  10. I looked today and I do not have a radio. Looks like I'm going to have to pick one up. The plate that is in there is a block plate and NOT the original radio. Crap. FG.
  11. This thread is nothing without pictures...share if you can. FG.
  12. Folks, Has anyone ever put a complete replacement heater/AC/defroster in like the ones that come from the Vintage Air or Old School Air folks? I need AC in mine as Socal is becoming a cinder. FG.
  13. Folks, Have you check AMS Obsolete to see if they have the springs? FG.
  14. You guys are corny. FG.
  15. Folks, I'm new to the forum and I don't know if it is frowned on sharing pics from an event. Would you guys like to see the pics of the event? Very few MoPars but the event was beautiful. In the event the answer is no, I have placed them on the HAMB too. Glendale Cruise Night Pics on The H.A.M.B. A preview: FG.
  16. Folks, Because of work, I haven't been able to read everything until this morning. I had considered the lightened flywheel and the dual barrel carb. In my vw days, our options were simple. New cams, lightened flywheel, MSD 6AL with Msd Flamethrower, dual barrel, dual carbs up to 48 pict. With that and an upgraded braking and suspension you were gold. I have wondered if some of theories could be put to use on a flattie. Time will tell.
  17. Actually if that is the stock radio...that isn't the one that I have... FG
  18. I don't have those pieces in my car...there is supposed to be all of that? I don't have a heater core either...could you take a pic of yours and this assembly? Thanks, FG.
  19. Now the song is going through my head. At any rate, as long as we're on the thread of radios. How the blazes does one take the 802 radio out? Thanks, FG.
  20. You guys weren't pulling my leg at all. Sorry for doubting. I will have to see whether that color element is there and if it is worn out because I haven't seen colors. Thanks for the info guys! FG.
  21. I hadn't considered that. I'll have to see how much clearance there is between the the bottom of the pan. But would I have to worry about condensation and rust in a dry desert like the LA basin? And is there a chemical that I can layer on the bottom of the pan to keep from rust and heat? Sorry mate, I'm new to this and need some reference. FG.
  22. Andy, it has only been that way since last year. I bought the car on June 23rd and am finding little morsels here and there like what you pointed out. Do you have a picture of your car or someone else's so that I can get frame of reference on how to handle this? Thanks, FG.
  23. Very funny. I'm not that gullible. FG.
  24. Today's pictures of progress
