  1. Oh...OK...that explains why I have a set of 3.
  2. Yeah,we were really roughing it that weekend Merle. The toughest part of setting up camp on the asphalt was having to drive up onto a piece of 2 x 6 wood to level out the MoHo on the drivers front wheel. Oh yeah....then I had to plug into 110 and hook up the crapper line. Tim...you Devil ! How'd ya know. Trouble was..... almost all of the ladies were my age or older.
  3. Thanks Phil. I think you are right. Kinda what I suspected.
  4. That's a possibility although I have never seen one like this on a dash. Who on this forum owns a 40 or 41 Dodge ? They might have the answer.
  5. Hey,congratulations Jim ! I'm glad someone here got it. Like you said.....we can add a 611-T to the list now too. Hank, my wife did buy me lobster and a couple of Long Island Tea's to wash it down with at a place just up the beach from where we parked the prairie schooner. And then....... the next morning she built me a Bloody Mary to clear the cob webs away from the previous nights dining experience. I didn't even care that I was outbid on the radio.
  6. You are right but.......These are about half the size of the truck emblems.
  7. I have used Rochester 1 bbls found on Chevy's of the same vintage before. They bolt right up if I remember correctly.
  8. I'll guess that it's a battery tender too.
  9. I've had these emblems for a couple of years and am not sure what year they are for. I'm guessing 40 or 41 Dodge. Anyone here know ? They are about 4.5" overall.
  10. Here's some photos of what I have Jim. The third photo is of a 2nd NOS carb I have. Same type as the first.
  11. Could be that you are just pumping the gas pedal too many times before it fires up?
  12. Oh....that stuff is just left overs from my last repair. The gorilla tape is all I'll need for the installation.
  13. I have one laying on my work bench as I type. It's gonna go in my 49 Suburban with a 59 Dodge truck 230 as soon as I figure out the linkage.
  14. Yes,round about in 1956 they did. Here's one. And here's one in my 42 Coupe
  15. Well Hank....I haven't been home for a couple of days. The wife and I are down here in Half Moon Bay with the MoHo enjoying the rain:mad: for Easter. Actually my auction sniper did the bidding for me ......lotta good that did. Sorry I missed your condolence call .
  16. Yeah, I placed what I thought was an insainly high bid of $250 and was outbid instantly.
  17. Did anyone here place the winning bid on this radio ? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270735556511&viewitem=
  18. I have replaced broken studs on these emblems by JB welding small #8 x 32 machine screws in place of the missing studs. If the screw has a round head grind it flat first. Works great.
  19. In an earlier post you said your truck engine was a T112. That would make it a 218 from a 41-47 1/2 ton.
  20. How about a link mate.
  21. With the 9' box I think that would make it a 1 ton and that would explain the split rims. You aren't wasting my time. I am ....cause I love these old Dodge trucks. Can you post some photos ? Welcome to the forum !
  22. Check out this thread. http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/showthread.php?t=11168&highlight=rear+swap Wait.......Split rims on a 3/4 ton ? Are you sure your truck is a 3/4 ton?
  23. Very nice ! The old MoPar graphics look way good.
  24. I installed a larger 251 Chrysler 251 in my 52 1/2 ton along with a 3.0 rearend more than 10 years ago. It's always been reliable and can be driven on the freeway at 65 mph all day long.
