  1. Sorry, I merged them backwards.
  2. I've got a 10' x 12' dome tent, two queen size air mattresses and two oversize bags I can bring with me. Anything else? Stove for coffee in the mornin'?
  3. Looks like a nice, solid starting point. Do you know about Dodge Central? http://www.dodgecentralmi.com/
  4. Another good source for brake parts: http://hagensautoparts.com/
  5. Welcome!! Post some pics of the truck if ya can.
  6. I'll check on plaque size or maybe even plaques.
  7. Should I have some smaller ones made Paul? Anyone?
  8. Sorry, I'm no help on the bolts.
  9. Spray everything with PB Blaster for about a week. I'll dig around and see what kind of brake stuff I've got.
  10. I have one that works if you need it.
  11. My wife and I did the windshield and rear window. Not a bad job.
  12. You're welcome. Most folks seem to like Steele Rubber. I used Clesters, however the corner windows were a PITA (I gave up and took the truck in to a glass shop).
  13. The two main culprets for leaks are the window gaskets and the cowl/vent seal. (I took care of the other posts )
  14. You've got a PM.
  15. Hank, I've got an extra housing if you end up going that way.

  17. How about something like this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/ONE-50FT-X-1-5-IN-NST-FIRE-HOSE-VERY-GOOD-CONDITION-/131076361692?pt=BI_Security_Fire_Protection&hash=item1e84c28ddc
  18. The book is still available on Amazon. If you click the 'used' or 'hardback' you can find the cover with the blue Dodge on it. Great read! Every time I get discouraged, I pick it up and read about him having to start the wood burner in the barn!! http://www.amazon.com/Truck-Rebuilding-worn-out-posttechnological-adventures/dp/0395250188/ref=tmm_hrd_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&sr=&qid=
  19. Try this: http://p15-d24.com/store/category/10-forum-donations/
  20. LOL. That's what that is!!! Yep, you're right. Also, in your signature: Gas pedal T100 http://www.robertsmotorparts.com/truck_parts.asp?Action=search&search=gas+pedal Drop the voltage to 6 going to your fuel gauge. http://www.ebay.com/itm/12-Volt-to-6-Volt-Heater-Blower-Motor-Voltage-Reducer-/350958843086?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item51b6c6f4ce&vxp=mtr
  21. Bicycle inner tubes.
  22. Strange. All 3 '49's I've seen have them under the gauges.
  23. The controls are mounted under the gauges in the B1's (parking brake on the floor doesn't interfere) (holes are there also). B2-B4's to the left of the steering column.
  24. Run the nut up snug, then back off 1/4 turn.
