  1. I was wondering if that narrow water pump pulley is stock? I have a somewhat similiar set up on my 1950 fargo pickup, but had to run a narrower than stock belt to match the compressor clutch groove. What I did was mount the compressor and alt on a plate the moves out and in to tighten the a/c belt, then the alt has a pivot point to tighten it back towards the block to tighten the alt belt off the a/c pulley
  2. b1b-parts,fm1 restored,b2c parts,d1d parts, and b1? 1 1/2 parts
  3. if you go down 29 to get to Manitoba you'll miss my address about 60 miles. You are welcome to stop if you like in Langdon ND and see my 1950 Fargo
  4. I looked at my parts again and the 1948 box without the L bracket had only 2 bolts on each end of the channel that runs under the tailgate. The other box with the much much stronger L brackets has 4 bolts in that same channel and more up each side to stiffen the whole corner
  5. When I built my pickup box I used the best parts from 1948-1949-1950 pickups. When i went to reassemble it I discovered that the 1948 box side and channel below the tailgate was made without the L bracket and was quite weak. The 49-50 boxes had the L brackets and I converted to that system but had to drill holes and use the channel under the tailgate from 49-50
  6. i had no trouble importing my fargo pickup. it had no title just a bill of sale. the border guys filled out the paper work and had me sign it. I gave the paper work to the ND dmv and they issued me a title. Other states may be different

  9. the 1950 fargo i have has a chrysler motor in it. What mopar did was put different offset on the radiator mounts and offset it further ahead when bolted in at the stock bolt holes. maybe you can get pictures of a fargo truck that shows that. I have no idea on the transmission mount.
  10. I recently bought a 1957 dodge 4 door dodge cornet. THINK CHRISTINE LIKE It turns out that the old dodge had a flathead 230 from 1954 and a stock dodge 2 barrel carb complete with air cleaner. I removed the intake-exhaust manifold and carb to maybe put on my 1956 plymouth 230. I currently have the plymouth 230 in my 1950 Fargo 1/2 ton. Has anyone tried this setup in a pilothouse dodge?
