  4. Sounds good. Headers really add to the looks. I split my manifold and the dual sound is there but I like the look of headers.
  5. I have been retired for 10 years. I worked for General Motors for 34-1/2 years.
  6. A while back seems like someone suggested using a 12 volt battery for the power source to make the light brighter. I did'nt try it myself but it sounded like it would work.

  13. I like a large piece of thick cardboard, it's easy to slide on and gives some cushion. Dave

  19. I split my cast iron manifold and used the smithy mufflers 35 inch length. I found the best price from summit racing $34.95 part pte-h3011. They put out a nice low mellow sound. Dave

On my p19 the nut I think you are talking about under the intake manifold, I removed with a 9/16 open end wrench, it is a nut on a stud not a bolt.I didn't have much trouble with the rear exhaust nut. As far as separating the two manifolds unless you have a reason its best to leave them together, the bolts break off very easy.
