  1. Oh, and post pictures, lots of pictures. We like pictures:)
  2. @TrampSteer, thanks for that. I’m sitting on the couch with the wife; you really brought a smile to our faces.
  3. Talk about late to the party. @WarriorDog, I was just in Montrose too, though a couple months after you. Bought my '50 B2B there @vikingminer49er, I'm putting a pin in the map and will look for an excuse to drop in. Thanks!
  4. When you say "hub", are you referring to the grease cap? If yes, I used channel locks, though there is a tool for it that I don't have.
  5. Checking my brakes and with the front wheel off I find a couple bolts partially unscrewed. They don't appear to be holding anything, so why are they there?
  6. Unless you know of somebody who would loan you one, or have enough cash to buy the one recently on Ebay, try making your own with PVC pipe, washer, nut and bolt. I,ve see a couple pictures around here.
  7. Good to hear. Hope you can keep us updated on the carb, vacum, a it link explorations.
  8. Winter is knocking at her doors. Tune up scheduled for this weekend :)

  9. Great thread. Will shop for a vise this weekend and give the cap, rotor, points, plugs, wires and coil a through inspection; replace as needed.
  10. Your doing it. Good on ya. Good looking , hope you have decent income, or time
  11. I’ll take any hubcaps, a right rear twilight and a passenger rear view hinge .bracketmirror
  12. LOL - Was missing the part about sliding the seat forward. Who would have thought after 67 years, I could just sit down, pull the lever and scooch the seat forward.VOILA! Seats come right out real easy like. New upholstery is in; looking plush
  13. I was worried about my trucks growling. Now not so much. Sounds like its likely been there all along.
  14. How did you get access to those screws? I've tried mightily lifting vertically with no joy I can pull the bottom part of the back cushion forward off the retention clips but don't have enough room to get my big fat head behind there to see what's going on.
  15. I was able to insert my key in the passenger door keyhole and turn it. Surprised it turned and turned two or more revolutions. When it stoped it would not turn back the opposite direction; I'm locked out on that side Any ideas on how to unlock it? Unlocking it from the inside no longer works. What am I missing?
  16. 5x7 rectangular? That sounds nice. On the tall posts bracketed to the door hinges? How about this look? https://m.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10213768226027463&id=1460752272&set=gm.10155204822073719&source=57&refid=18&ref=m_notif&notif_t=group_comment&__tn__=EH-R
  17. I was able to peruse the Ebay photos. I impetously clicked the photo, wich brought up the ability to scroll through them all. Curious about that seat upholstery, I'd like to do that to my '50 B2B, but don't know if that would ruin my survivor jenosequa? Was that style available or is it custom?
  18. I reckon the safe thing to do would be to order a matched pair of West Coast mirrors, then use a 5" convex on the passenger side as a stick on. I hate to drill holes into my door.
  19. Keep me in the loop. I think a little more than one wimpy light and a couple of reflectors are in order
  20. More angles '50 Rear Tail Light
  21. Rear Tail Light Are we talking about the same thing? I only have one, did I get ripped off?
  22. Mine locks by lifting the inside driver's handle. One is supposed to always exit the vehicle by sliding across to the passenger side, right?
  23. I'll check my '50 B-2 B when the sun comes up. Feel free to PM a reminder?
  24. I found thes and passed out. When I came to I came here https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/oOMAAOSwetRZloLB/s-l400.jpg
