  1. Ive been lurking round here for way too long.Ive posted up some parts wanted so I thought Id come along and say hello from the UK. Ive brought over a few cars including a 41 Plymouth b coupe, two 48 Plymouth b coupes, two 48 Plymouth c coupes and a 48 Plodge D25 c coupe. They have come and gone,my present ride is this 41 Chrysler. Only first and third gear at the moment so its not going too far until the required parts to repair arrive.

  2. Thanks again, Dr. You are too kind! After I've gone through the Town Sedan mechanicals, we'll have to wonder south & see if we can find you... We live a simple, but beautiful life compared to many. We can jump in an old car & drive any type of road surface with any type of terrain right in our back yard or can jump on the interstate 1 mile away & be in 4 different cities in an hour or less. So we're in the middle of nowhere and in the middle of everywhere. The only problem is these messy northeast winters! I guess I just have to move, or put heat in the garage & wait it out...

  4. If it's a six cylinder car loosen the fan belt. ..place a piece of card board between the fan and radiator core ..remove both upper and lower hoses.. the lower if it has the metal pipe too remove all pieces ..remove the lower rad drain petcock completely ..remove the radiator 7/16" head bolts ..lift the radiator carefully straight up and out. NewYorker/ Saratoga eight cylinder cars require the heater box cover to be removed for clearance... also there is a access cover plate to remove on each lower inner fender well panel to gain access to the right and left lower radiator mount bolts. I use an engine hoist to lift out the heavy eight radiators!

  5. WOW, my 47 Flathead runs strong, its got plenty of George Asche high performance parts and tuned right. This car has been driven to Portland OR, up Pikes Peak, across upstate New York into Vermont. Disc Brakes. OD, 8 3/4 with 355 gears amd get 22 MPG. ABTW with all of these modifications it stilled scored high enough to get a 2nd place at the 2008 POC meet. Just thought I'd ask. I love a spirited debate.
