Saw this on e-pay......someone started rodding this coupe. Looks as if

that dash fits in pretty good. Not as nice looking as the Plym one, but

at least still a vintage item.

That would be mine! The stock one was hacked up pretty bad and could not find one and had the 41 sittin on the shelf and decided to give it a try and what do you know it fit like ma mopar put it there! The car did not sell so I am going in a different way with it. The 440 is comming out and slant 6 is going back in and the top is getting wacked 4", and it will become a tail dragger!(YaYa i know)

I would be considered a tailgragger as my car is not finished yet...not fond of the dash..the rest of your plan is ok....the /6 will be more than what you need to roll along the streets...I do not know your resources, but the little Dakota 3.9 V6 is a sweet install...

Yeh I let a stock dash go on ebay when someone was going to buy it,the thing went for 50 something bucks, I started to buy it and should have knowing the way the guy was talking,he was gonna flake. oh well I'll keep looking. I have a /6 that is why I would rather have a stock flathead but don't have one.

Those Plymouth dashes appear on ebay from time to time. Don't know if

they always sell or not.

I was able to buy a complete Plym dash not long ago from an area salvage yard still attached to a cowl he had cut out of a car. Also

got the front door pillars as my right one is probably a little bent...but it

doesn't show much, if any, when you look at it.

Since the Chevy dash fit, there may even be others like Pontiac or Ford

from that era that might fit.

I have never actually seen a slant 6 in a P-15. It will be a challange as the slant 6 is around 30 or so inches long. There is lots of hop up stuff available for a slant 6. Go for it and keep us posted on progress.

I've seen it in a 54 ply but never a p15. I think it would be neat.

I thought I did but all I could find is this one which I believe is his 350chev powered one. He had a whole fleet of 54s. I think the /6 one was a yellow one.

When I got the car it had a /6 in it and it was tired so in went the 440. the 6 was a good fit except the side panel was cut for the alt. I have a /6 that my kid built for his 64 Valiant that went low 12's! it is going to be stock except for dress up parts.

Post pictures of the slant 6 install. Where are you located?

Well it went under the knife(or cutting wheel) today, here are a few pics. This is the first time in about 8yrs or more I have worked on it and it felt pretty good.
