Normspeed Posted May 20, 2008 Report Posted May 20, 2008 It looks a bit like the Chip Foose fighter plane car, but without the million dollars. And this one looks like you could actually drive it. Quote
Niel Hoback Posted May 20, 2008 Report Posted May 20, 2008 The P-40 nose art would explain the Allison V-12 exhaust ports. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted May 20, 2008 Report Posted May 20, 2008 have always been a nose art fan and wish they would allow it still yet...I have been told that forward deployed craft can have these but must be removed before returning stateside..that is only a HEARD THROUGH GRAPEVINE report.. Also when I was in the Army they had their PM magazine where every piece of equipment was animated..some very good illustrators back then. Quote
norrism1 Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 Has the art work of the Flying Tigers of WW2. Course- it looks like Hobbes instead of a mean tiger. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 Yet another application for a Studebaker nose piece...... Quote
central52 Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 That star-like symbol on top of the roof, I think, is the Chinese Nationalist emblem from WW2. Quote
