U-joint Pin Removal Advice Please

I’m attempting to replace a ball and trunion joint. The pin is worn and pitted (years of running with no dust cover I suspect.) I’ve read all the posts and watched all the UTubes I can find. I have a 10 ton hydraulic press and built a jig to set the joint in to allow room for the pin to press out. I’ve been using heat and penetrating oil with the press but it hasn’t moved. Do I need a bigger press? More heat? Anyone who has removed these pins please comment.

10T isn't enough, unless you really heat it, IMO.  I'm not sure how much heat one can use without compromising the shaft though.   I'd try dull red  and hope for the best.

Hopefully you can successfully repair your driveshaft. In case that isn't feasible, below is a post from 2020 about the parts needed to build a new driveshaft using modern components. This is the route I will take if ever faced with a failure of the original u-joints.

There was a thread a year or so ago (which I can't find) where I posted a shopping list for the parts needed to build a driveshaft for our cars that is a bolt-in replacement. The necessary adapters are available that bolt to the flanges on the transmission and diff, a seamless conversion. Seems the total cost was somewhere around $400.

Found it....from this thread:

Scroll down several post to where I broke out the components needed.

Just for grins I ran searches for the parts listed in the invoice above. They are readily available and listed below are some (not necessarily the least expensive) of the links I found (in same order as listed on invoice):
