uncleaud Posted April 5, 2024 Report Posted April 5, 2024 (edited) I'm going tomorrow to look at a 47 Desoto. If I'm not mistaken they are the same over all package of Chrysler as the others of that era are. Are there any unique attributes that I should be aware of or look for? I sold my Saratoga last fall and have missed it ever since. Hope this may help fill the old mopar void I feel in the garage. Thanks Edited April 5, 2024 by uncleaud spelling correction Quote
Doug&Deb Posted April 5, 2024 Report Posted April 5, 2024 It should be very similar to your Saratoga. Of course you’re losing two cylinders and some horsepower but overall it should feel familiar to you. Good luck and post pics. I’m going to look at a 49 DeSoto tomorrow morning. My Coronet needs a friend lol. Quote
Dan Hiebert Posted April 6, 2024 Report Posted April 6, 2024 Neat thing about being a MoPar fan, you've already experienced one with your Chrysler, so going to look over another vehicle in the same family shouldn't give you any surprises. You already know what to look out for since the cars are so similar. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted April 6, 2024 Report Posted April 6, 2024 DeSoto is like the others with a few designer cues changed here and there, they are fewer in number than the sister cars. Quote
