You'll also want to check the back side of the bearing shells.  Often the shells are stamped with an undersize if the crank has been ground.  You'll want to check them all because even though standard practice now is to grind all journals to the same undersize, that was not always the practice.

These dimensions are for standard size crankshaft journals (never been machined).

 

Mains:  2.4995 - 2.5005" (so 2-1/2" nominal dia.)

Rods:  2.0615 - 2.0625" (so 2-1/16" nominal dia.)

 

As others have mentioned, it is strongly recommended to get a rebuild manual, if you don't already have one.

Thank to everyone that offered their opinion. I am very appreciative.

I determined the following crankshaft journal values: main = 2.499" ; rod = 2.061.

This was an industrial motor from a tug so I don't have a history.  The crankshaft and all other parts of the reciprocating assembly look good.  I suspect rings, bearing and gaskets will be all that is needed for the rebuild?
